Hi
Can you help, having interference on the CB when driving, think it's the Alternator? Is it still possible to fit a Suppressor/filter. Asked Maplins & local CB shop, Nevada and they dont do them any more.

Alternators normally are already fitted with suppressors. What sort of interference is it. Normally Alternator interference is a whistle which gets higher in pitch as engine revs increase.

That sounds like it? Whistle or whine and increases with engine rev's

most motor shops and halfords sell conpressors they a little boxes with one lead just attch to alternator or try your coil

I would have said the same thing, Halfords and try the coil too, thats where I've got one fitted on my camper

Mine picks up terrible static from the wipers!
