Change it for a Difflock oil drain plug.

It makes life so easy and the oil (from the drain plug anyway) always ends up in the container and not on the drive.

Unless some idiot kicks the container over....

Is this still true on a 3.9i Disco, the thing about the oil pump?  I know it was on my '88 3.5EFi Rangie.  You have to change the whole thing really quick, not leave it for half an hour draining as the oil pump loses prime and you have to pack it in Vaseline.
