Which type of rope would be the best to have in your kit,
Kinetic, poly, nylon or the strop type.
As i'll be heading out more, with others who have no equipment, which would be the best to aid recovery if needed?
Cheers for help!

ive got a KERR for landy recovery,a 5 ton strop for gentle pulls & a towstrap with snap eyes full pulling boyracers outa fields
-
If buying just one get a long high rated strop that is 3" wide.
Kerr's are going for recovery in mud but to use one you need to be really sure that recovery points on both vehicles are good and up to the energies involved in this type of recovery
Cheers

Kinetic, strop and Standard heavy duty rope
I like to cover all bases

Best to get 'donations' fromt he hangers on and cover all bases...or just make them buy their own. It will wind you up after a while as if its your kit you are using you can bet it will be you rigging it up, etc.

OK, so I think I know which rope to do fr, but then comes the attaching it to the vehicle!
The Niva comes with two sturdy towing eyes underneathe the bumper at the front, if I go for a bridle strop to spand BOTH eyes, what size shackels should I got for?
