Title: Speakers
Post by: rustprooflandyracer on January 10, 2006, 16:59:23
I want to fit extra speakers, well more than the original one in the centre of the cab. Where would be the best place to fit them around the cab and also in the rear, ideally four in number.

Still probably will not be able to hear the dam radio.

Matt

Get a set of headphones

Gave up radios in these things ages ago, I usually listen for the next thing to go wrong

My Dad used to have a Defender 90 and he mounted 2 under the dash (facing downwards) on spacers and 2 in the top rear corners of the roof (facing forward). Again, using spacers.
It worked alright but lacked bass.

I would take a photo, but don't have landy here at uni.  I've got mine mounted in the top rear corners of the boot, I bought two of those 3 speakers in a box type things and mounted them to a board that lies horizantally resting on the ledge just above the small rear windows.  Works well enough for me.

I've got 4 6x9s in the back of my 109" and I can hear it just fine, even at 60 on the motorway.
