What are the odds of me being able to bleed the brakes on a 1986 2.5D 90 in a field in the dark tonight?
Picking up my new toy but the chap thinks the brakes need bleeding before I can safely drive it the 8 miles home.
Can see me ending up driving it home in low and using engine breaking and a few pumps of the middle pedal!

As long as you've got plenty of brake fluid, something to lie on and something to bleed it with you should be alright. Gunsons Eezi-bleed kit?
Do you have to pick it up tonight, not something that could wait until the weekend and better light/conditions?

Well, I have brake fluid but no bleed kit unfort.
It needs to be tonight really as its the only time that was convenient for both me, my mate and the seller.
I'll have to see how I get on!

Ah well, you didn't mention you had a mate... who needs a kit when you've got someone to pump the pedal and make sure the reservoir's topped up!

Well, didnt even get around to bleeding the brakes in the end, had a good look and the disks were paper thin so I didnt drive it home and will get it trailered to my place.
Think I have some work to do here!!
