Title: D3 clutch

My dad's D3 is now getting its third clutch in 18000 miles. This time the main stealer is getting a technician from Solihull to inspect the damage before Land Rover will pay for a replacement under warranty. Any one else heard of these problems with the new beastie? :?:

Normal driving, minimal towing of a trailer tent by the way.  :?

I know of D3s that have done much higher mileage than that but haven't heard of a single clutch that needed replacing yet, obviously a fault rather than normal wear and tear. Ask over on disco3.co.uk, someone may be able to shed some light on the possible cause
