took the pug in for the MOT this morning
passed first time (for the second year running)
i had to MOT it as it is for sale on ebay with a full MOT (see my post in the auctions forum http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?p=173128#173128 )

the MOT was till late March so i was hoping for a 13 month ticket
just been told i cannot have a 13 month ticket asthere is over a month left on my old ticket :x  :x  :x

nope, the test is only valid for 12months, as the theory is that the inspection accounts for a year of use.

That said, a car car pass one day, but would fail the next..

Although you can get a 13 month ticket (well almost) by testing it just less than one calendar month before its due.  This seems to panic buyers as many of them think that its something dodgy!  

There is not much point when your not selling them I dont reckon.  The way I see it is you still have to have one next year!
