Title: Volunteers\Help Wanted
Post by: drum on January 20, 2006, 14:58:38
Well I finally got my new forum up and running, the idea is a place people can deposit relevant Land Rover Technical Articles, and earn a small income for their trouble. However I now need to get some relevant articles on the board and generate some interest.

The plan is that as the site finds it's way into the search engine, it should start to populate once there is enough genuine articles on there. I've started putting some articles on, but I could do with a real injection from a variety of people.

So I have a special offer for Mud-Club members, I will pay £1 for every technical article that is placed into the technical sections for the first 100 Articles  :D This is in addition to any commission (http://lrtech.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=4) that is earned from the board. I realise this isn't going to make anybody a millionaire (especially me) but that's not what it's all about.

I've put a few sample articles up, and over the coming weeks, I'll be writing some more. (Before anybody asks, Any I write will be excluded from the 100)

The link to the site is in my Signature so have fun, any comment or input are most welcome.

I will also help if I can & hereby waive any fee that I may be lucky enough to possibly receive.

To help, & be helped, is reward enough.
Blimey, that sounds pretentious

In that case, you can add as many articles as you like to the Mud-Club workshop section....  we don't pay a penny for them :-)

Absolutely..   I've said since we launched that bit of the site that we wanted all sorts of things in there...  from basic jobs through to complex things.

To be honest that's what it's all about, it won't make any of us rich, and there are already loads of people all over the net with some fantastic knowledge they're only too willing to share. The idea is to bring them all together in the one place.

No intention of taking anything away from that either Tim, as I've said in the past I'm 100% behind Mud-Club it is a great site, and a brilliant atmosphere etc.
