sorry if this as been on before as only just signed up to this club , i have just bought a sj410 and it as a 1000cc engine in it , i may want to put a bigger engine in all i want to know is what engine and box can i fit in as been told alot of vauxhall will fit im not thick just dont know alot about them once again sorry if its been on before its just so i can go to my local scrap yard and pick the box and engine up as one as dont seem to have many suzuki engines in

2ltr vauxahll carlton plus box, short shaft to the sammy t case.

There are a wide range of engines that will fit, the vauxhall seems to be the most common conversion, and fits quite well without too much major work.
The only downside is the engine is quite heavy, and having the extra power does tend to do quite a bit of damage to the driveline.
IMHO a 1600 vit engine and a decent carb would be a better choice, unless you have plans to upgarde the axles.
