Title: best motorway services ever
Post by: woody on January 23, 2006, 11:25:02
now i hate motorway services as they charge a fortune for food
now as a rule we take sandwiches and a drink with us
this doubles up as a way of keeping a 4 year old quiet for a while
but we had to take a trip to York for his booster jab (alternative to mmr) as he was good  and brave, i said he could have a treat, a toy and dinner out
so on the return trip it was off at J27 M62
into toys r us and then to

Ikea for some dinner
2 adult meals +drinks with free refills
and a kiddies meal and drink
price £11 and a few pence
and all this 2 mins off the motorway

though getting SWMBO out with out her spending a fortune was hard work

Why not!

I'm game for a trip to our Ikea if I can tie it in with meatballs and chips!

Our is just off Junction 26 of the M1 about a mile or so West down the A610.

Can Dan get us a discount though? Hmmmm?

Why Blackpool to york for a jab?

its a choice of MMR or the single vaccine
we chose the single vaccine and the company are based in London
they set up surgery in Novatells (F7) in a few cities accross the country
York is the nearest to Blackpool
he starts school in Sept so he has to go back for boosters
one on sat (measels), next in 6weeks then the last (and dearest) 6 weeks after that
