Title: General enquiry Anyone making rock sliders
Post by: Fingers Mclean on January 23, 2006, 13:59:01
Hi Guys,
just asking as I know there are many members that know someone or have the knowledge in making rock sliders. I have a pair of scorpion racing rock/tree sliders on at the moment :)  but now I have cut the arches and put the bigger tyres so they don't fit...so my question is do I cut mine and re-weld them or do I get someone to build me a pair or build my own with a little help from a friend :?  :?  decisions  decisions  :?  :?  Some advice would be great or even info or a member possibly that make good quality sliders. cheers guys Ali

I've got the same problem with mine.
I got mine from Mark at Discoparts and he said he'd chop them down for me. For a fee :)

I've cut mine down too, then caped the ends and repainted them.

The problem with mine is..that they are  not just a straight peice of box  :?  They have the tree slider part fitted (tubing)

So the cutting down and re-welding is going to be a pain in the butt     as i have to shorten both ends
