Post by: gate78 on January 26, 2006, 12:01:33
Hey guys and gals, im looking for some army green matt paint, im sure you all know what i mean. Has anybody used this? where is the best place to obtain some, and what preparation work is really required before painting? Im not after perfection, but i dont want to sand the car down to bare metal to prime and paint, i just dont want it to chip off too easily.

cheers

A bit late i know but mines NATO green, picture of it in the "I've all way's wanted to know why you guy's....." post. It's the pickup.

I used an industrial enamel called Corrofast from Clifton Paints in Bristol. They may deliver up your way. Bit of primer and slapped it on, finished pretty well considering how cold it was!
