After careful consideration I recently upgraded my 'WebShots' & I'm now actively trying to fill it up.
I had a trip out to Leeds late this morning to photograph the wonderful Victorian architecture in the city centre.
There's also 3 pages (at the moment, the 3rd is still under construction) of 'Yorkshire Scenes'.
Plus 2 of my hometown, the city of Wakefield.
Would any Yorkshire based members care to suggest any 'non- touristy/non-famous' places they'd like to see me add to the site.
Comments also welcomed.

Richard, just browsed your photo's of Leeds :D
Some excellent pictures in there, all very familiar.
The County Arcade, Lloyds Bank Horse, the Corn Exchange to name a few, I think you have some of the Dark Arches as well don't you :?:
Well anyway we went for a walk on Otley Chevin on Sunday, lovely day and the view was breath taking up there over looking the valley.
To the left you could see Arms Cliff crag and the viaduct, to the right the Cow and Calf in Ikley. Maybe an idea for one of your trips around Yorkshire :D

Thanks for those kind words Andy, I appreciate them. It makes standing in Leeds in the pouring rain dodging the shoppers worthwhile - at least I had the hat to shelter under :D
I've just done a short photo-shoot this morning in a Leeds suburb that falls mainly within a 'Conservation Area'.
Well, all the featured buildings but the Church & Hall do anyway.

The second page of Leeds architecture almost full & also one of Wakefield, that includes a wonderful unrestored 15th century house.
As an afterthought, do any Yorkshire (Leeds especially) have any photos of the old 3story tenement buildings on Woolman Street? (at the bottom of Marsh Lane)

I went out this afternoon (sorry it's Monday now, I mean yesterday afternoon) to take some more photo's.
I was in a strange little town frequently visited by Andy Shiney in order to photograph a bridge, whilst I was figuring out the best uncluttered angle I came across this rather different Guard-Dog.
looks a friendly chap & doesn't eat a lot, just requires a coat of paint.
(Dulux, of course :D )
Image deleted 20.7.04, but still in 'WebShots' @ 'Yorkshire Scenes 3'

Never seen that whilst visiting the 'Jungle'
Which bridge the one going out of town :?:
Reminds me of K9

He's just over the bridge built in 1808 Andy, it's the one that carries Lock Lane away from Castleford.
Come along Wheldon Road to the roundabout & turn right.
The scrapyard is just after the Shell garage on the left.
As an aside, I guess you come along the M62 & come off at jct 32. Yes?
Well you pass my favourite house in Castleford on that road - it's just before you get to the mini-roundabout before the Wheldon Road r/bout.
It's called 'Chatalaine' (see WebShots, 'Art-Deco/British Moderne') Well there's not really a lot to get exited about in Castleford, is there?
Most fun they had was when Tony Robinson filmed an episode of 'Time Team' there (I was there....)

Considerably updated now, come & have a laugh at me in Lycra

And on that subject, can you reccomend any cycling forums?

Sorry Matthew, I've never used any.
I suppose a start would be the BCF (British Cycling Federation) website;
http://www.bcf.uk.com/
That has links to the various disciplines within the British club scene.
If you're in 'the mood' try Cyclo-Cross next winter - it's 'fun' (!?!)
If it's more general forum, try under a certain rider, team, or event
such as; Lance Armstrong, US Postal, Tour deFrance.
http://www.lancearmstrong.com/
http://www.uspsprocycling.com/
http://www.letour.fr/2004/us/index.html
Or perhaps the Manufacturer;
http://www.trekbike.co.uk/
Roll on Sunday, Armstrong is in the position of being the only rider to win a record 6 times.
He's already joined the other riders who've won 5 times
Anquetil, Merckxx, Hinault, Indurain.
And still the French refuse to believe he's 'clean',
Shame on them!!, after all he's been through in the past 10years

Updated this afternoon with photographs of a visit to Otley & a beautiful Cotswolds village that's actually in South Yorkshire ('Yorkshire Scenes 4')

I'd have to get a lot fitter first :(
I've recently got my bike out after about 13years off. Used to do a lot of miles with clubs and to and from school, even did a few club time trials(IIRC 1hr 2min for 25). I'm currently just trying to get round and back home without collapsing :)
