Just looking at the rear arches where the tyres have been rubbing slightlty under articulation
I noticed that the bodywork has corroded through and the rear panel is flapping about a bit!! The bolt is still in the chassis!. Is this a common problem and what's the best way to sort it without putting new side panels on?
The corrosion is too big for a big washer!!

Yes it's quite common,
Stick a small plate each side and bolt through.

Mine has done the same, Ive just left it as it is You dont really notice it.

Mine's done that too. They go where the alu body panel joins onto the steel behind it thanks to every Landy owner's favourite electrochemical reaction.
Having used a stupidly strong glue to put one of my doorskins back on, I'm tempted to try the same thing again on that panel. If you get a decent thickness of glue, then the two bits should be electrically insulated from each other which will hopefully stop the alu rotting away again.
