Title: 2.5 N/A Diesel fuel pump
Post by: robbie on February 01, 2006, 21:03:46
anyone know how the inlet and outlet pipes fit on the lift pump??

I need to replace the pump cos it is leaking engine oil either from the gasket or from one of the other seals. Either way, it is having a new one. I didnt take any notice how the pipes fitted though when I had my head under the bonnet.

Are they like the 300TDi where I would need a new olive and nut??

they are like the 200tdi's & the pipe screws into the lift pump,im sure the 1 to the front o the engine goes to the filter & the rear 1 goes to the tank
