Title: 300TDI Alternator Wiring

Can somebody do me a favour, and do me a quick piccy of the wirring on a 300TDI Alternator. I replaced a defender one last night, with a 100amp one of a Disco, and the connectors we're different, I think i got it right, but just for piece of mind can someone whip the heat sheild off and post a picture??

I shall be out replacing the water pump in a bit - can get some pic's then if no-one beats me to it  :wink:

The large brown cable on to B+
Small brown cable on to D+
White cable on to W

Hmm, we only had 2 wires on defender. One is B+ what's no problem I know which that is. The other is small black cable. (From memory I won't be back at the machine, until tomorrow)

The white is the feed to the rev counter on the Disco - may not have that on Defender?

That's it, we don't so the other wire probaly want to go on the middle one Cheers Chris, spanner time tomorrow.  :D
