OK guys help me decide what to do-front end of the Disco as it needs sorting so do i fit a heavy duty bumper or go for a winch bumper as there is only £40 difference between the two. I'm not planning on using a winch but do i fit the bumper and then have the option at a later date to fit if i want? PLEASE HELP.

yeah get a winch bumper at least your have that option then if you want to fit a winch later on. joe

It would be an expensive mistake to make if you decide later to get a winch
But if your sure........ :?:

I have seen those winch bumpers and heavy duty ones and the only advantage I can seeabout the non winch ones is that you get a better approach angle.

why not try this

theres guy on ebay that sells tubular winch bumpers (like the scorpion ones) for £125.00 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GUARDIAN-TUBULAR-BUMPER-AND-A-BAR-DISCOVERY-200TDI_W0QQitemZ4615690073QQcategoryZ31348QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Check with your insurers, if you fit a winch bumper you might as well fit a winch as they will assume you're going to anyway. They don't like the extended sillhouette you see, especially if it's lifted. If you run into a mini  the poor driver will have you winch logo in his neck.
BTW I've oredered a removable winch from Dave Bowyer, it will fit on a towball, wherever that towball happens to be
