Yeah - a lifting kit seems to be a great idea as I shall be mainly using it of road.

Not sure, I'll tell you in a couple of weeks
I can't imagine you do, i changed to poly bushes and put some lift shackles ([PooPoo] BTW) with a couple of spanners! Its pretty much just swapping bits over as far as i'm aware. I may be wrong. I'm sure some one will put me right if i am
I think you may have to extend your brake hoses too, they don't come in the kit, i think they are about £50 from Pro Comp.

I've got a 2" spring lift on mine and standard brake lines, it works just fine.
Chomp, If your m/ts dont rub and if your not going to a bigger size tyre then do you need a lift kit :?:

Dan I bought a set of +2" reprofiled springs from a bloke called Suzuki Jon, he's very well known in the zook world for his flexy/minimal height loss springs and knowledge of all things Suzuki. He's based in Kent .
They ride great on the road ,don't really feel like leaf springs.
Which ever way you go don't get heavy duty springs ,they ride harsh and don't flexeven after months of off roading. I don't have first hand experiance just going by what others have said.
I'm going down to see him on Thursday :)

£500? Cool, you could spend it on me. 8)
No, if I was you I'd get an SPOA lift especially if you are going to spend time on tarmac roads with it as shackle lifts are God awful things. You will need extended brake lines and shocks, plus relocated shock mounts. I made my own SPOA kit and saved an absolute packet.
Now you can run bigger boots but that will alter your gearing and since you're running a 410 there's no lower transfer case! Unless you go for a "rock lobster" conversion which is not for the faint hearted!
Maybe a rear locking diff for unstopable performance off-road but be wary of different types of locking diffs if you're on tarmac again. Don't bother with LSD's though as they don't transfer all the power and are chuffing awful on the road as they can engage when you least expect it.
Welcome to the beginning of spending money.
