Help! I need to issue a Press Release to Continental off-road clubs for the 4x4 Record Attempt Weekend at Towcester in April, only I don't know how to list the event's mobile number.
The land line is obvious, but is there some sort of international code for mobiles? At the monment it reads ...
+44 (0) 1406 493144
07958 216266
www.vehiclerecordattempts.com
... does this need adapting or can it stay as it is?

Your UK mobile from abroad is 0044 (0) 7958 216266
-
hello mate far as i'm aware its the same for mobiles and land lines IE replace 0 with +44, i could be wrong tho
-
for international it should read +447958 216266 as people have said
cheers
-
You should list it as +44 as said before, rather than 0044 because not all countries use the same international prefix.
-
Once again, I turn up late. I always thought Mobiles had no internation prefix.
-
Thanks folks ... +447958 216266 it is!

Really.......name a country that you could not dial from using 0044 to access the UK telephone system
-
do away with the leading zero and substitute +44 as mentioned
(I work for orange  )

It holds true for the vast majority of countries, but I can think of one example that springs to mind - the USA. I'm sure there are others.
The 44 bit will remain constant as it's the international code for the UK, the 00 can change from country to country.
