I think i caught 'The Archers' on radio today and it's all hands on deck to block the bridleways for 4x4's though not trail riders,is something afoot in Archer land?

Maybe one of the writers is a friend of Sian Berry :D

Acutally with NERC back on the agenda on 27th Feb it was more of a propoganda coup for the RA.
Disgraceful abuse says I. None of it is even remotely factual.
I don't listen to it but have heard the net version on their website.

I honestly thought that show had been put to bed years ago. I would email the radio station but fear that noone would reply.
When channel 4 ran an extremely biased article i emailed their complaints department several times and never got a reply.

Well now the plot is suggesting a club might be organising the use of bridldeways - what on earth for?
Personally I have registered a protest to the BBC. The Archers is a very popular program and gets a relatively huge audience so you shouldn't dismiss it out of hand.
I think it's a plant but possibly not they may just be exploiting a current issue to gain listeners.

You should find out who's writing the scripts, :?: it might be Janet Teeth Porter,

Nah it's some geezer who used to write in Private Eye I gather from GLASS. Can't recall the name. It seems this wonderful story line came to him while driving in Birmingham - eh? Don't know about you guys but when I'm driving in Birmingham my focus is on getting out of the place not wicked and evil 4x4 clubs arranging illegal driving trips on rather dull bridlways.
It may turn out that when the Borcestshire 4x4 club is contacted they are shown to be responsible and help sort teh problem out so I am agog to know the nest twist and turn! So much so I falied to listen this evening.
