Post by: MK-90 on February 20, 2006, 16:30:42
Hello,

Just asking for a bit of help. Im too far away from my tools back home to nip and change my front propshaft uj on my 90. If i can get the prop off does anyone know of a garage that can change the Uj?

Im based in southampton so any help here would be appreciated :D

Where abouts are you?

In Soton Autotechnic (Totton) may help if its an emergency although they are VAG only usually. Failing that there is a Landrover Repair Place out at Wickham (Fareham Way). I Beleive Sholing Garage may be able to help too. PM Me if you want direcions etc.

BTW In Soton too :)

One old socket that fits into the yoke and one that will let the yoke rest on it and let the spider go in to it, one hammer and something like snipe pliers to remove the circlips

Peel clips off and wallop the socket
