I am having problem sececting second gear and sometimes first meed a bit of a shove to get it in. Dose this mean I may need to replace the gearbox or something alot simpler and cheaper?
Had new transferbox that was bad enough.

Might be worth a look at it or drop it anyway, if its black, might be half your problem

hi, ive just filled mine with difflocks EVOLUTION 1 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil as i was having the same prob, the old oil was past its best and now the gear change is loads easier and also the car feels more livey on the cold mornings as its meant to be more lubricating when cold than atf.
its not cheap thou, but good stuff

Not got it to hand, but I think the next question will be "How much oil do I need?"
Not knowing myself off the top of my head, anybody?
