An odd title being as it is just stopped snowing out side but on reading this I can see the weather getting very cloudy in the future.

This is the sort of story they could not print on 1st April. It is astounding. So could they say no more TROs, or no use of BOATs, or no 4x4s can leave their driveway!

And we thought the NERC bill was a problem ](*,)

This country has been heading down that road for years.

Compulsory crash helmets on motorcycles .... for the common good
compulsory seatbelts .... for the common good
increased resrictions on shotguns ..... for the common good
criminal justice and public order act .... for the common good
banning legitamatly held handguns .... for the common good

It seems prevalent to ban anything under the auspices of it being "for the common good"  At least now they wont have to discuss it, they will have the authorities in place just to ban anything as they see fit.

New Labour?  Old Communism.  Total control of the population and taxation so high that we are effectively working for the state.  Sounds like communism to me.
