Hiya can you please help me decide what i should call my puppy, and if you have any different ideas please feel free to post them up  :D

Winchester?

I know it was a differant time & sensibilities then, but don't go the Guy Gibson route with names.............................

Our big 3yr Dark GSD is called SHADOW - cool name for a black dog ...

At a game fair last year, this nice old gent told me the best name for a dog was 'oi you little barsteward' - as that's what you yell at them when they run off over the fields for the umpteenth time !!!!

Ours (English Springer) is called Remy.........no guessing what my favourite tipple might be  :wink:

The daft yellow lab is called Barqar

Love the names and what is the bizar looking wooden thing called behind Bazil hee hee it must have a name is it called Ants lol :P  u have two lovely dogs mate are they really good dogs to have do you know  :D

That would be the pig :lol: I tend not to touch it....too many visiting dogs have [!Expletive Deleted!] on it. My mum picked it up in some market in the middle east. The yellow one is from Abu Dhabi (hence the name; barqar means lightning...but with an extra slyable added on the end) and both are reasonably healthy for pedigrees (runs to hug a tree).

Good luck on naming your dog.....we have allways found 2 sylable names get better responces from the dog...not a clue why....but as long as they do what theyre told....... 8)

its a bit different
good luck with him anyway
and get him insured as my 11 month old staffy cost me £300
yesterday for a knee operation
and i had no insurance
did look online about getting it but didnt get round to doing it
and now cant get it
hes a bad risk !!!!!!!!

We used to have a couple of black labbys
The dog was called Trigger and the bitch was called Jet.

My Uncle always calls his dogs by the same name.

A bitch he will call 'Judy' and a dog 'Lad'.

Good job he never has more than 1 at a time.

Very cute pup!!  Wont be long before hes chewing your house up!!

I went for Murphy, but also like guiness (as someone suggested)

At work we used to have a customer who had a lab called Rubbish!! cos it raided the bin the first day it was brought home!

From memory we also have black lab boys called:
Jet, Tyson, Dunlop, Tarmac, Shadow, Coal, Gadget

as well as the "human" names like Ben, Max, Sam, Oscar etc

we have a lunatic springer. trust me he aint normal  :lol:  :lol:  as with most springers i think he is a littl loopie.
he is called barney or what ever pops into my head at the time  :wink: . i voted monty out of your choice of names. but how about "baja" or "ben"

My choc brown lab that lives with my dads ex (long story and not my fault) is called Storm. He likes diving. Along one of the canals near me the bank has been built up so you cant go under the bridge and there is about a 5 foot drop to the canal and everytime we go to that bridge he likes to jump off the wall down the 5ft drop and into the water. We cant stop him. Hes just mad. He also enjoys putting his head right under the water ie so his collar goes under the water and he just finds lost balls and sticks and large pebbles under the water. We try not to encourage the stone finding!

chaz doesn't seem like a dogs name to me.....

saying that our lab-german shep cross is called nemo, and thats a fish name :), now 10 months old and like a hooligan,

ASBO is good one, wish i'd have thought of that.

Kellog.

He was named that by my sister in laws children. He came to stay with us when they went on holiday for three weeks. When he went home he wouldn't settle and kept "crying" so he ended up back with us.

I can't think why he prefers it here :lol:

If he's out I never call him.  :oops:
