By no means can I be considered a fan of any of the mentioned bands/artists, but the use of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in Waynes World deserves an award simply for the appropriate useage of the "Let Me Go!" chorus

]Best Ever soundtrack (in entirety), as befits the movie has got to be either
'American Grafitti'
or
'The Buddy Holly Story' (Gary Busey allegedly did all the singing)

I would say though that if you want a best soundtrack then the film "Meat Loaf: To hell and back" starring W. Earl Brown as the big man himself was the best, he did sing all the songs in the film.

But then we could move onto The commitments.  The long haired lad who was the lead singer in the band at the time of filming and singing was only 16, and he was singing all the songs, now that voice at that age was a miracle in itself!

His name is Andrew Strong (http://www.andrewstrong.com/), he definitely inherited that voice from his father, Irish sould music legend Rob Strong (http://www.owlrecords.com/Biorob.htm). Nice fella too.

I can't believe that nobody has yet mention the Blues Brothers. That has gotta be the best sound track of all time?

HHHHmmm Jono, i do see your point, but i think it can be exempted cos it was more of a musical than a film with sountrack!

Yeah a grey area I guess. That would also exclude the likes of The Wall and The Song Remains The Same also then. <sob>

Played Bohemian Rapsody full belt as we dropped into the mudhole at Lanley farm. Four of us headbanging as we went looked great. For about 2 min until the cd player flooded and burnt out .Thats two cd players I,ve lost that way.Although any of Queens songs from Highlander I would prefer."Who wants to live forever ."

Nothing is a patch on AC/DC writing the whole music script for 'Maximum Overdrive'

Then there's always the score to South Park the Movie, pure excelence, not to mention comedy!

Spot the music student
