I will be purchasing the new suspension setup for my Disco next week, but with so many options I'm all confuddled!!
I've seen
Scorpion Racing - Fast Road - £674!!!! No lift, just uprated everything.
MM4x4 - 1.5" lift - £375 - Closest I could find to standard height!
I will mostly be on road, with the occasional jaunt (work permitting) into the mud.
Has anyone had any dealings with Scorpion?? What is there kit like?
Cheers
Steve.

Dear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
no seriously try bearmach srings and procomp es9000 shocks, should set u back £250.00 ish.....................but im sure someone will disagree
-
And that someone is me...I know load swear by bearmach spring, personally i swear at them. For the road why change what you have? Spend the money on a set of spare wheels with mud terrain tyres and keep the disco as it is. Best of both worlds! Once you start it kind of gets away from you!!
-
:D aint that a fact
-
Nice to see you've 'just' changed the tyres Bully!
NICE TRUCK MATE!!
-
I was thinking the same!!!
I need to changed the suspension and bushes, badly! The truck has done 157, 732 miles and is starting to show it. 8)

Can i ask that if i keep standard springs, will fitting ES9000 shocks make much of a difference to the vehicle and if fitting do i fit same or can i fit shocks that are say 1'' or 2'' longer?
-
Its all about what you want to achieve. You could fit 2 inch longer shock as long as they dont fully compress when your suspension moves up. If they are ok then you will gain a little. Decarbon or procomp are both good!
-
I'd echo that, you can keep standard and fit either +1" or +2" dampers so long as the damper doesn't bottom out before the axle hits the bump rubber, then as long as the suspension is supple enough you will have extra droop travel to keep the wheels on the floor a little longer. If you start lifting it can get expensive, my lift is nowhere near as extreme as Bullis but I recon I've blown best part of a grand to do it properly.

Old Man Emu shocks and springs are about £450 a set from Devon 4x4. I'd seriously consider them, plus a set of standard bushes if you're worried about them. You never hear a bad word said about OME. I've fitted their stuff to 2 trucks and been very happy.
