can anyone suggest an alternative then that may be better for the beasty please . all suggestions greatly received :D

:D bin it and put a kenlow on just done mine and its amazing difference alot warmer alot quicker i aint noticed fuel difference yet though....
-
would love too but haven't got the pennys at the minute
-
Have you tried ebay? just got TWO 'kenlowe-esque' fans, complete in housing so i can remove my engine fan.
Think the total with postage was about £45.
There were several 12v fans on there when I was looking, maybe worth a try

Stick any old 12 volt elecky fan on it? Put a tempreture therma switch on and away you go?

anyone?

I've just fitted twin electric fans from a Focus kindly supplied by barmiebrummie.
Wired in on a switch for the moment they work fine, mines a V8 and they keep it cool, just got to remember to switch them on.
A lot cheaper than Kenlowes, I do have a viscous for sale only 3 months old but it's off a V8 so don't know if they are the same.
-
what sort of cable and switch would i need, can anyone point me in the right direction please. [-o<
what have you lot got wired in / used ?
oh forgot too say , i've got my twin ex rangie fans now so ready to role.
-
You will need 30 amp wire and switch, depending on whether or not you want a termo switch, in which case it is worth putting a light on the dash indicating they are working.
These are the best idea,

Thought it would be of interest to you, you can also fit a cut out switch on the dash as well for deep wading
