Title: Problem with rear axle

Hi All

Can any1 help me, i hav just started to change the rear brake pads on my disco 200tdi and noticed that there is a lot of play on the hub and am getin a clunk when driving around corners, is this the bearing or something worst?

it could be your bearings if you take your brake pads off is there any play in your hub if so its your bearings. LRC it  :twisted:

www.paddockspares.com these are cheap for bearings :twisted:

Don't buy the really cheap ones though, go for branded ones like Timken or SKF.

Don't talk to me about wheel bearings, having had all 4 go in the space of about 6 months it can become very expensive, esspecially as one of the front ones did a fine job of wrecking most of the rest of the hub at the same time :cry:

i have found this guy very good
i needed a new hub with my bearing aswell
cost £50 the lot delivered
