For the past week my 300Tdi has been in the garage having its cylinder head gasket changed, and was delighted when the garage rung me today to say it was ready for collection.
As i couldnt get to the garage before they shut, my dad went to pick up the motor, and i would pay them on Monday.
I have just been out after getting in from work to my car to find all my CD's bar 2 missing!!! in total 8 albums and 2 complilations.
So where do i stand on this one, as i understood it the work was to take place in the garage where i dropped my car off, where there is the usual valuables left at own risk sign......... But when i rang in the week and when my dad popped in to see how things were going the Disco wasnt there and had been subbed out to another garage!!!
Im so angry with this, i havnt paid the bill yet and feel like i should hold back the value of the CD's

I dont blame you for being angry , but i would spend the weekend gathering ammunition or infomation :D on your rights as a consumer before you go in on monday shouting the place down.
good luck mate.

Im on the spot with this one, as i have used this garage for 5 years and always sent both my landies to this guy, as well as my parents using it for there cars, and my dads sports car, and i use the same garage for trailer hire for my work...
The annoying thing is they left one cd in the player and i have no case for it..... I havnt paid the bill yet so im contemplating not paying up in full and retaining the value of the CD's
where can i get advice on this.....?
