i watched it it was gd but y the 2 v8 engines

Its a repeat Ive seen it before. The rangie could have done it with one engine, but I think they had to do something rather than just sit around drinking tea and eating the bikkies on the build day :)
The second engine comes in handy for the later projects and you'll find out in the coming weeks

Yeah where was that, I want to go and rip a Disco up it.

Scrap Heap has banned 'standard' 4 wheel drive (eg using a transfer box), its in the rules, thats why the two engines in the rangie.
Otherwise a lot of their challenges would be won by unmodified Landies

I've always thought that "I'd just enter a 109 truck, it'll go anywhere and can can bolt anything onto the back as each challenge arises". But now i realise there are rules that explains why it hasnt been done before.

Was it the one at Tong?

I met Andy from the Chaos Crew last night, picked a wheel up from him for a mate, seemed a really nice bloke, has a series111 and disco in his drive.
