Title: Kenlow thermostate disconnected
Post by: big rob on March 14, 2006, 21:54:52
Hi chaps ,
went to Aldermaston last Sunday had great day, but my twin fans stopped working, after stripping them down and cleaning they are as good as new. However as I am a complete "edit" I disconnected the thermostate switch for cleaning whilst cleaning the rad and I forgot to write down where the two wires go on the C, NC, NO, connectors I have the live feed from the cab and the lead which goes to the relays, I've checked the fans and everything is working apart from my brain, Can anyone help with the correct wiring or if you have a kenlow switch maybe take a look and let me know, many thanks Rob. :-k

C=common, NO=normally open (off), NC=normally closed (on).  So use C and NO terminals.

A helpful chap at work has explained the in's and out's of wiring to me, and he tells me that a relay is needed as the switch could burn out. I have relays as I have checked. But H please have a look as this guy knows his stuff as he wired our factory.
cheers Rob
