Title: Plastic Sills
Post by: Merlin on March 15, 2006, 09:12:24
Does anyone know how to re-blacken the sills?  Tried "back to Black" & also the Gel types of blackener but it very soon wears off & makes the motor look tatty again.  This is my road motor & I am starting it's "Spring Clean/Service" (snow permitting!!!) soon.--Cheers--Cogs

You can get paint for plastic I beleive Halfords do it might be worth a try.
Failing that do a search on line or try an automotive paint supplier.

Try boot/shoe polish, worked for me on a truck and looked and lasted pretty well.
