Title: April TOR and Turtle
Post by: Wanderer on March 16, 2006, 13:24:48
Well it look like Turtle got a picture in TOR this month.

Anyone else.

The mag seems to be going from strength to strength and listening to what the readers want.

I did last months roadbook, last weekend. TOR managed it in the summer in a near standard Disco. Not now you can't. All three Discos in our group received panel damage on one section. It's also a section you can't avoid. We were not particularly bothered by it but if you took your shiney standard Disco along the track, you're in for a beating. Great fun though, I enjoy their roadbooks, and they are getting harder  8)

You have to take into account things when running lanes, time being the main factor. These lanes can deteriorate in months. I look at the routes they do, and often see loads of lanes around they dont do

I can recommend lanes I've run before, but cant guarantee that you will be ok on them, like saying the M1 is a great round to go, and a car piles up your rear end

Agreed though they are good routes, you just have to be flexible with them too
