I have a template and the fitting instructions too maybe tim could make a copy of these things so he could send them out as a disposable sticker so they are easy to find and they would be much easier to use. any one wants this one though pm me your address.

Need to get hold of a template for a 200tdi Safari snorkel too.

Gonna be fun working out how to route hoses to fit it to the 300 airbox though! Might just rip that out in favour of one of a 200, not decided yet.

Narked, I put my old Southdown snorkel from my 200 onto my 300, chucked the 300 airbox away and fitted the old 200 box, absolute breeze and allowed room for the winch battery at the same time

Aye figured it'd be easier that way. Still, I only put a new air filter in last week! (cheap [!Expletive Deleted!] ain't I?! ;) ). Whilst trying to work out how I was going to go about fitting the snorkel I opened the air box for the first time. Took one look at the filter and realised most of the air was probably bypassing it all together it was in that bad a state! New filter has turned it into a new motor!

I suppose you could but it also includes the bolt holes too, it's much easier to do with the template rather than hit and miss measuring from one contour to another and hoping you dont cut too much of your wing away.

you decided to go down the 200 airbox route then good move the 300 v8 is a right t**t to do by comparison dunno about the 300 tdi not seen that one done but at a guess is similar to the v8 airbox.

Looked like it was going to be an awkward job, hence why I've gone the 200 airbox route. There's not much room between the standard airbox and the inner wing to route a hose round that way, not much room between the airbox and the engine to route a hose that way and round the back of the box to the wing, no room above, and not much space on the side of the airbox to cut a new inlet in line with the snorkel.

So I decided to save myself a big headache :P Just need to look at how much work is gonna be involved in fitting the 200 airbox.
