Post by: clips on March 21, 2006, 20:49:09
ive just been told by a fellow td5 owner that their brakes failed due to the rear brake line rubbing raw on the fuel tank or likewise. anyway hol ein breakline, no breaks.
they seem to recon this is pretty common, anyone else heard of it? should i be carrying a spare line with me on my trip to the sahara?
any one suggest any thing else i ought carry that the td5's are prone to?

Al,

If you make it to the next pub meet (i.e. before you go) I have a couple of spare Braided hoses in the back which you can quite happily borrow on a no-use no-fee basis

If it's that bit of the brake lines that's worrying you  :?
