Well tonight has been one of those nights! I went down the pub about 5pm, came into a small ammount of money and seeing as i couldnt go out often i thought i would treat meself. Well i spoke to one of the neighbours (lovely elderly woman) like i have done for the last week since i moved in and when i left i told her where i was going. There is a pub right behind the block of flats. So 6pm comes and a police officer walks in. Asks for me directly. Now as those of you who know me well enough will know i have had somewhat of a shady past. So he asks to look around my flat. I ask why. He tells me the pillock in the flat next door has barricaded himself in with a knife and is threatening silly stuff!! So i show them around and he is satisfied. asked me questions about fuel supply to the flat etc... and do i know his household fuel, be it gas or elec. So we deal with the questions and i have given me "i dont know" answers and am left to go back to the pub.
At 9pm (the drafted in officers from Carlisle as Barrow only has 4 on of a night shift, and there was 20 officers surrounding the flat) the officers start bringing in the other residents of the block of flats. Now normally i wouldnt mind, but the first they brought in was a severely arthritic elderly woman of 80 years old who lives on the same floor as me. It angered me somewhat as she is a lovely old dear and was trying to get some sleep prior to a hospital appointment in the morning.
Well thankfully they got the little **** out of his flat and into custody. I just think its a sad state of affairs when elderly people get evacuated from their houses cos some little chav scroat cant take his ale.
Sorry for the drunken rant but needed to vent!!!!

Why did the police bother? It would be one less little s**t that clogs up the prison system living the life of Riley on MY hard-earned cash!
