I though I would share with you all a shout I went on last night, it was a golf which had left the road and gone through a wall which had metal railings on top of it.
Some how the car then slid along the top of the wall taking out the railings on top and came to rest with its front wheels sitting on top of a Lotus Elise.
Along the way it smashed up the rear ends of 9 Lotus's 1 Merc and 3 TVR's and 1 Freelander.Which were all neatly parked up on the garage forecourt.
The driver was extacated from the car by us and is doing well no major injuries lucky for him.
What a claim that will make
I would put a picture up but it keeps telling me they are to big, if someone lets me know how its done I will post a few.

I resize them in Photoshop, lowering the quality helps too, to get them under 75Kb.. otherwise put them in your galery where they auto resize.
-
you can also download a free resizer from www.download.com
(photoresizer 1.06) is the easiest to use.
-
Not a Freelander... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :D

Thank god for that, one less toylander on the road!!!

My wife was driving our Jetta when it was hit from behind by a Toyota Four-runner that was doing 70. Nothing was meant to be hit from behind at 70.
It was a Jetta and not a Golf. When I went to the towing yard, I at first didn't recognize my own car. It was only the stickers in the window that let me know that it was mine.
-
The Jetta was shoved into two cars in front of it. My wife's friend had to be taken out of the car with the Jaws of Life and helicoptered to the hospital. My wife was knocked out and taken by ambulance.

heckie thump they had a lucky escape i should say

i hope the little git has insurance for the garage owners sake, but i some how dont think he'll get it after that......
and i hope all the injuries after the crash are ok, when i seen the state of the car i thought it would have been a fatal, as most cars loke that i come across are normaly are fatals, she's been very lucky, thankfuly

But that golf must have been going at some speed to get up that wall and to slide along it. It is just amazing.
Around here there was a boy racer a few years back who went too fast down a double width country road and went round one corner too fast and rolled it but he cleared the 7ft high hedge and landed on his wheels in the field next door! Pretty good going as well. He didnt drive away as it was a ploughed field and got stuck where he landed!!! :D
Its amazing what people do and yes I own up to being a boy racer whe I was young and yes how I never kiled myself or others or have an accident I will never know. Still go a bit mad at work but only where it is safe to do so ie customers long driveways

There was one on the road up to my school (the A65 to Kirkby Lonsdale if you know the area) just before Christmas. One 6th former in a mint green Pug 106 took a bend too fast, clipped a kerb ending and it tossed him across the road, finishing up the wrong way up in the hedge, quite funny.
Saying that in Winter the A65 has nearly one a week, it's the main route between the Kendal area and Yorkshire so it get's it's share of nutters.

Know it, but I'll guess it was up 'your end' of it??

Most of them on 2 wheels on their way to Devils Bridge

It was just your side of the Farm on the hill (The one where it drops down and you've got the bus stop and narrow lane to the side), Took the bend after that too fast and it just got away from him.
To Explain better, Past the Plough, then you go past all the houses and the big anti-windfarm sign, then you reach the steep hill with the farm just to the side of it, and it was just down there.

It's just me, but I really really don't like looking at car wreakages - it makes me squeamish - had to scroll past those quickly - and this from the guy who had to deal with four breached lambs on the families farm this weekend - very messy. :(
-
Wonder if it'll be a Dangerous Driving charge? Cos it doesn't look like he's a very safe driver to me.

I love seeing wreckages. They fascinate me. My dream job is a car accident investigator. I love trying to work out what happened. I can walk round scrap yards for hours looking and working out how the car may have ended its life.
The only thing that scares me is seeing the air bag deflated. That makes me hairs stand on end for some reason.

I worked at one place that rented vehicles to bluechip companies. Here's what's left of a three month old Renault Premium tractor unit. It was recovered on three vehicles.
The driver hit the back of a parked trailer at 56mph and completely flattened the n/s of his cab and ripped it from the chassis, the front axle was ripped out and numerous other parts were strooned across the road. His injuries were two boken legs, but the one leg his knee joint had come up through his groin  OUCH

That looks like the remains of a Punto in which an elderly lady driver pulled out in front of an artic........................ & then stalled.
It happened about 18months ago near where we used to live
She wasn't a nice sight on arrival
The driver was also brought suffering from severe shock, but was exonerated of any blame, several witnesses saw the whole event
-
Urgghhhh - we need an emoticon for throwing up!
-
Not a lot left of that Renault... Hope the driver wasn't hurt too badly
-

Yes i agree they are far better off the road than on, some one has to pull the big boys out when they get stuck coz they weigh too much 8)

Well, while we are on the subject, here's mine (http://www.cheeseontoast.net/images/corsa/index.html) - was hit by a VW Passat on a national speed limit road [A47] Here's what's left of a Vauxhall Corsa. Take a look at the first pic and imagine a full-grown Dalmation in there  He made it out ok, just with a chipped tooth.
Funny thing was that he refused to get into the car. It took me about 10 minutes of coaxing and prodding and finally picking him up and putting him in the boot.

A Toylander should not be on the road anyway. My knees are too near my chin when I drive it and at 5MPH top whack we don't have too much trouble!
-
lmao oi dan less comments about freelanders plz my old mucka ;) at least ours works
