Just thought it worth a mention....
unless you need and excuse to be an hour late for work any way
-
i never know when to do that, what a waste of time.
-
As some one who works shifts, if you want to do it correctly then wait up till 1 AM and turn it *forward* 1 hour.
And to remember how it works....
Spring forward and Fall back

wasnt they on about doiing away with it.

Yeah... I seem to recall some argument about the Scotish farmers benifiting from it some how... load of balls as theres still the same number of hours daylight in a day. They should bin it and leave it for whats safest for the school kids coming home in the dusk.
No doubt someones making a mint from it... wonder hom many clocks / watches get busted as a result.

There was talk of doing away with GMT (UTC as it's know internationally) and sticking with BST all year or even adding an hour to it in the summer so we're on the same time as central Europe (CET).
The only thing against this is that up here in the North of Scotland, even on GMT it doesn't get light in the mornings until 08:30 - 09:00 in mid-winter. So adding an hour to this means that all the kids north of the boarder would be walking to school in the dark for about 3 months of the year. Not a good idea on the safety side of things.

dont forget to put your time forward on your profile as well

ok then its morning who forgot ???lol

I wondered why i was so knackered when my alarm went off thismonrning - they stole an hour of my sleeping time!
Its a good job all my clocks change automatically!
