Well round here we have 3 supermarkets doing fuel, Asda, Tesco and Morrisons. Now only Tesco and Morrisons do a reward scheme for fuel (Asda dont seem to do one, and the only service station in town is a Shell one which i have no idea what they do!)
After a debate with someone today i decided to work out which reward scheme was better, and so this is what i came up with:
Tesco
£1.00 = 1pt Gained
100pts = £1 Reward
500pts = £5 Reward
£5 Reward costs £500 and takes 25 weeks to gain (at £20 a week)
Morrisons
1 Litre (T/a 90p) = 15pts Gained
5000pts = £5 Reward
£5 Reward costs £300 and takes 15 weeks to gain (at £20a week)
So maybe morrisons is a better option! But also remember Tesco Clubcard is also used for shopping so obviously targets can be gained easier, whereas morrisons only use theirs for fuel.

Tesco points on fuel cannot be gained at Express stores.
Express stores sell ESSO fuel, not Tesco Fuel, hence no points may be given on it.

Fair enough, then must restrict this to Supermarkets then, Express arent really classed as the Supermarkets though as they replaced the convenience stores.

Having doen the brian<<< training Tesco actually see Express as more important :)

Dont like the smaller ones, i prefer the bigger ones, ex hates it, she likes going shopping in 3 or 4 different places on shop day, me, i prefer straight in, get what i want from one place and straight out again! We have one of the Extra ones here and its lovely!

ok so I don't get point sand cheaper fuel (in the long run, but...)

supermarket petrol is exactly the same petrol as you get at any other petrol station.
it probably comes from the same depot too

Tesco fuel is ESSO fuel, which makes the whole clubcard thing even more bizarre :)

I have a morrisons on my doorstep virtually, so no argument, also with 3 vehicles on the go, disco, hybrid and my fathers car too, does not do to bad for me :wink:
