Just bought some alloys for my defender, however it has the older axles, so will need spacers to put the center caps on, however I have been told that there are some good one's but also some dangerous one's, has anyone got any experance of these and could anyone recommend were to get a good set :?:

Make sure they are TUV tested and approved and that they have centering lugs to locate the wheel and are not flat.
Devon 4x4 do them and they may do different thinknesses.
Photo below is from Scorpion's site and shows the lugs, their's are also TUV tested.

It is a safety & type approval. Have a look HERE (http://www.uk.tuv.com/web/product_testing/automotive/02pt_automotive.html) for more info.
I think Tim can tell you more about it that I can.
I wanted a set of spacers that had been tested, not something done in someone's garden shed on a wee lathe that could fail on me!!
