info required..are the early classic rangie diffs (1970's) the same ratio as the later (1980's).??are the petrol diffs the same ratio as the diesel diffs??thanks for any help :D

As far as I know they are all the same. The later ones are 24 splins and not 10 like the early ones.

Yep, confirming what Paul said, all the same until the 24 spline in 1992ish

All the 10 splines are interchangeable, but they are not the same.  The earlier ones had 'imperial' sized bearings (smaller I think) and filler plugs in the casting, not the axle.
