Title: Oh no..... just gone and bought a Zuke!!
Post by: V8MoneyPit on April 03, 2006, 18:20:46
Not sure why, but I've just gone and bought an SJ413 unseen from eBay

I suspect it will be a bit of a culture shock compared to the 110 V8. But a bit cheaper on petrol  :D

Yet another toy to add to the collection

You will be suprised how much fuel they use actually, you need to thrash the hell out of them on the road so they use tons of juice - well mine does!.

Make sure you get a 410 transfer box fitted, lowers gearing by about 12% which helps when bigger tyres are fitted.

Well, the gearbox is described as 'grumbly' so it might need attention anyway! Might need some help with what bits to use so expect loads of questions in the near future

I only really bought it as a toy (like I really need ANOTHER one!). I am not expecting to do anything radical to it..... yeah right!! Already established that you can get a fairly huge lift out of £250   And I didn't throw my steel winch cable away when I put synthetic rope on the 110 the other night!

I thought it would make a better laning vehicle than the V8. Smaller, a bit more economical (it has to do more than 15mpg surely?!).
