Title: Talked my Dad into it!
Post by: Singlefin on April 06, 2006, 11:04:21
Have managed to talk my Dad into getting a landy, and more importantly, he's talked Mum into letting him get one. He's found himself a nice Defender 90 300tdi, but he can't pick it up till May  :?

I'll be sure to point him this way!

Best advice.... tell him to spray oil on the drive now and blame it on the old car..that way your Mum will never suspect it's a Landrover thing.

I reckon it'll start off gently at first.. a couple of spots... maybe a gadget or two, then one day I'll go home and there'll be a monster truck parked outside their house.
I shall of course be offering my suggestions

And he's never been off tarmac... anyone suggest some good beginner lanes around north lincs?
