-
Um...well 12J is a Land Rover engine ..so 15J is not that odd. I guess it's the Turbo version of the N/A 12J?
-
the thing is, it looks like the normal 2.5 n/a diesel.... but..... this one has no turbo on it???????? im puzzled as to what it is....
-
Could it be out of a LDV van?
Or a BMC one?

im not sure... i dont really know.... im not sure what it is.
-
The turbo engine is a 19 J, have a look in a haynes manual i think it shows the different engines available but i'm not sure weather it tells you what thier specs are.
-
I have had a bit of a dig and i 'think' the 14/15j is the Sherpa version of the 2.5 n/a but don't quote me.......
-
ok, thanks, whats the sherpa version... sorry if i seem a little thick... im new to the landy world!

It was fitted to (Freight Rover) Sherpa Vans.

the naturally asthmatic was fitted to all sorts of vehicles, not just the land rover, as mentioned above the frieght rover set of vehicles also had them, as did the london taxis amongst others.
from what I recall, the sherka (i.e. freight rover) engine was ever so slightly different, so would have a different model number.
