Title: Deep wading with air
Post by: nakedbarra on April 09, 2006, 03:27:31
Anybody know how to make the air compressor for the air suspenion wading proof on my 93 rangie and any other suspension components wade proof if they need it?
Want to be able say that I could use my snorkel if I needed to.
Thanks

Well, if the hoses are intact the intake for the air suspension is in the driver's (UK) rear quarter panel, just below window level.  I'd be more worried about dropping the valve block and all below water level repeatedly for any period of time, though they are sealed.
I guess for a once every now and then it should be OK, but if it's a regular thing I'd consider remounting it into the cab.
