is there a legal requirement on where the number plate goes
just put a tubular winch bumper on and thyere is no place for it :?
has any one got any ideas?
-
anywhere thats very very visible from the front i would presume!
-
You can secure it anywhere providing it is easily legible when viewed from the front.
MOT wise it must be readable at around 20 mtrs.
-
I once passed an MOT with my numberplate placed on the dashboard.
-
got mine on the roof rack passed last year no problem :D its a correct size plate and forward faceing to legal
-
....and the stick-on ones are not allowed any more. :(
-
Blu that doesnt always work cos mine just failed on that.
-
I do like the roof rack idea best :)

Just remembered these number plate mountings from Devon 4x4 (http://www.devon4x4.com/products/44/D44%20products/450/D44+lowline+number+plate+mounts) or you could just use a couple of 90 degree brackets mounted to the top of the roller fairlead to bolt the number plate too.
