beside AT or MT palavour. 235/85R16 will fit neatly under the arches, if you want something more wider than a 7.50

31x10.50R15 MTs will fit

235/85 is the most commonly used size for utility Land Rovers (Defenders, and Series). It's a good size too, not too big, but not too small. :D
-
Next question what do you drive over? as that'll affect what you pick.
-
if you fit 235/85r16 the rears will catch the rear tub brace bar up in the arch on full articulation. Does not have a detremental effect though just a little rubbing noise.
-
Yer, that already occurs when due to the 7.50's, fitting new tyres and wheels will give me a wider offset so will not have as much trouble with the width of tracks. So if any body is interested in a set of 7.50's x4 General SAGs radials on 5.5 rims (tubed) i have only done about 1000 miles, x1 greenway chaco 7.50 on a 5.5 rim (tubed) and a spare 5.5 rim no tyre, as they will be for sale shortly.

if ya doing off road I rate SAG 750s they have stopped making em but they are totaly brill for off road.... SUPER ALL GRIP....I have a set they cost me £40 off ebay...They are brill tyres and have plenty of grip
-
I run 265/75's on the 109, slight rubby noises when loaded up with kit.
Only stick out slightly as well.

This is what they look like...

GENERAL SAG ( SUPER ALL GRIP ) CROSS PLY
ALSO VERY STRONG SIDE WALLS..... :)

Well, time is almost up to decide where to place my order and what of... I am seriously considering the BF Goodrich M/T as I know they will last me a good number of years or so... But I just need convincing the advantages outweigh the intial price. Or is there any other options for M/T for a series. Good quality preferably not retreads, or now days are re-treads as good as new tyres :?:
Thanks Matt
