ok. so my projects in its final stages of completion.
time to look at stopping little b******ds from stealing it.
there is no steering lock on mine, i am making my own wiring loom so i can make so immobisers if anyone has any suggestions.
i have fitted a luminition system, and will run the feed wires and earth wires through a isolator switch of some sort, that should stop them just putting a pos to the coil and jump starting it.
i also intend on getting a disc type steering wheel lock. and battery isolator switch.
any other suggestions.
cheers guys.

only thing is ive bought a new steering wheel that could be unbolted from the boss (6 screws), so the steering wheel could be taken off.

I'd say fit a proper alarm system, and if you can afford it one like Mark Evans used.
-
With your battery cut off switch - If you mount it behind the bulkhead/seat box so that it doesnt poke through it is much stealthier than mounting it normally.
So many cars have these now and they all use the same key so it wouldnt stop anybody determined.
Just drill a hole through to put the key through.

i am going to get one of the clutch cut off valves so when you depress the peddle with out the key it wont come back up so it is stuck in limbo until you put the key back in

lmao i heard they train the f1 pit crews in corby no where else can they remove ya wheels in less then 10 seconds while your still trying to park in asda...
as for the security system i always vote for the big german shepard :) nothing like a nice white set of teeth other side of a landy window to remove people from the proximity of ya car
