I have a moral problem.
Yesterday I noticed that I have the traditional Landy Spider. It came out for a look around in the sunshine and then dissapeared back behind the dash board.
The thing is , I dont drive a landy, I drive a Musso.
Does this mean that my spider is not a genuine add on?
Do I have to find and kill this spider?
Will this spider come back with millions of little spiders to distract me just as I pass the old bill?
AAARRRGGGHHH so many questions
:?: :?: :?:

i have a zooki spider in mine.
inferior copy of the landy spider.

I don't think I have a Land Rover spider in my Defender, you see I keep a small metal lizard on the dash.I'm sure he chases them all away

I say kill the spider !!!!!!!!!! or you will end up having to move a load of annoying cob web if you need to do a job behind the dash.
-
the spider will keep the flies down in the cab!! :?
-
ps. i need a genuin landrover spider for mine, coz my truck is currently un-occupied.
i could buy yours, and you buy the correct one off ebay for your truck.
-
You will probably find that once the spider popped out and realised he wasn't in a Landy that he will be gone now :D
-
I bought a brand new TD5 defender, and it came with a spider :?

You'll wake up one morning and he'll have been busy converting it to Sollihul's finest.

I'm actually quite worried about them, as they are also getting in the Kubota grass cutter and have chewed through the wiring, spoke to local council pest control bloke, he says all you can do is lay poison and traps. Trying to talk the boss into getting a few ferral cats. (im not really a cat lover, but will put up with a couple if it means not worrying about chewed wiring etc).

You want to watch out that they dont hollow out your seats and use them to make a nest!
My landrover not only has spiders in but also wasps :( They seem to wake up and start buzzing around just as the truck gets warm - which is generally as i'm cruising down a dual carriage way or trying to get through some complicated bits of busy road in the town!
Even if i drive around with the back open all the time they never seem to want to fly out and always come into the front and buzz round me!
-
i would not be able to drive a car with wasps living in it
-
If its a big spider and you've got a V8 it could come in handy if your electrics/ignition leads fail...
you never know it might work

Tomarse......Couldn't go near my 90 if it had wasps in it, you should see me ducking and diving even running when wasps take an interest in me  , changed shampoo/deodorant/soap many times over the years trying to find one that doesnt attract them.......came up with Dettol antibacterial soap/morriscones own brand "green" shampoo and conditioner/Linx Africa deodorant.
Best thing I ever bought was one of them electric zappers "looks like a tennis racket", push the button touch or wack a wasp and it sticks to it "FRYING" .

NO......but now you mention it.......its a damn good idea :D
Will have to go buy another one as living in the countryside, the missus zaps a lot of insects in the summer......They also work on them large spiders that dash across the living room at night.
