Title: Air Box
Post by: unknownmanxman on April 17, 2006, 21:50:25
Right, Ive got a 200Tdi defender 90. And was thinking about moving the airbox into the back of the motor and running a pipe to it from the turbo. SO just relocating the air box! As i dont like ripping my snorkel off!

Has anyone done this? What should i use?

Thanks for any info!

Another easier solution is to fit a Southdown snorkel. Unlike Safari, Mantec etc it doesn't site out to the side and as such doesn't get knocked about etc.

Cheers

Yeah i had looked at the southdown ones, but the intake on the top of the snorkel looks quite small compared to the safari ones... Am i right?
I tow quite a bit with my motor so im guessing restricted air flow would be not so good for it??

Thanks
